Knightscope’s K5 Autonomous Security Robot doesn’t just patrol on its own — it’s delivered, supported, and connected in a way that makes security seamless for your team.
Knightscope’s model is built for ease. There’s no capital expenditure, no need to buy hardware, and no software to install on your local systems. The K5 operates on annual subscription model, just like your cable, mobile phone or internet service. You get the equipment, support, connectivity, and software updates included (and sometimes even hardware upgrades!) — backed by a US-based team.
From urban campuses to remote parking lots, we provide full nationwide service and maintenance. If something goes wrong, you won’t be stuck waiting for parts or hunting down a technician. Our team handles it. Most service issues are resolved same day with 90% of it done remotely by the Knightscope team.
We monitor performance in real-time and dispatch our field technicians proactively when needed. No added cost. No long support queues. Just uptime.
The K5 uses 4G or 5G LTE cellular networks to stay connected while on patrol. There’s no need to run cables or rely on your facility’s Wi-Fi. Cellular coverage is part of the subscription, so everything is turnkey from day one.
The robot connects directly to the Knightscope Security Operations Center (KSOC), our cloud-based user interface where you can schedule patrols, view video, and receive alerts.
Raw video is stored locally on the robot itself. When a security alert occurs — say, a person approaches the unit or a license plate is scanned — that event footage is also stored in the cloud for fast review and retrieval.
We retain video and associated data for 30 days by default, giving you plenty of time to access or archive anything of importance. Our Risk & Threat Exposure (RTX) remote monitoring team will also help you with investigations. All included.
Ready to stop patching together hardware, software, and support? Let’s simplify your security with one solution that does it all.
