Making US Manufacturing Safe

Autonomous Security Robots (ASRs) help prevent unauthorized access to assets, business processes, control systems, equipment, and sensitive information, improving your manufacturing, distribution center and warehouse security posture while increasing employee and visitor safety.

STEP 1 Secure Parking Areas

Provide 24X7 cutting edge physical security by utilizing several Autonomous Security Robots (ASRs) K5’s at all parking lots and parking structures. ASRs should be patrolling with strobe lights and patrol sounds activated at all times in the parking areas. This can significantly reduce threats from organized crime, vagrant encroachment or criminal mischief. Duress buttons on the ASRs can be used for real-time Alerts to on site security teams or even receptionist stations for emergency situations for employees and visitors.

STEP 2 Monitor the Main Lobby

A K1 in the lobby capturing information about and Alerting for BOLO (Be-on-the-Lookout) individuals can significantly enhance security postures of manufacturing sites. Detections & Alerts can include Facial Recognition, Signals (smart phone devices) of banned individuals or potential threats of Workplace Violence. Ensure that proper verbiage is placed at or in the lobby advising that the area is being recorded.

STEP 3 Patrol the Interior

A roaming indoor K5 or K3 can provide coverage from a critical eye-level vantage point of various key areas such as Production, Storage, Shipping and R&D. Time-based or People Detection Alert-based Broadcast announcements can effectively remind employees and contractors of Safety or Security practices and policies. This in turn can promote better safety practices with all knowing that there is dedicated safety monitoring throughout the facility. The intercom feature can be used in real time by employees or contractors in the case of a security or safety incident.

STEP 4 Patrol At-Risk Locations

Conduct patrols of areas of high risk such as cooling towers, high voltage areas, HAZMAT or chemical storage areas with K5’s or K3’s. With Thermal Detection, users can actively receive Alerts of certain high temp readings and dangerous locations. Reduce the risk from persons entering the area by staging and or patrolling the area regularly with an ASR.

STEP 5 Manage the Workload

Utilize Knightscope as a stand-alone security service or augment your current security force and possibly save money at the same time. If choosing Knightscope, enhance the user experience by digging deeper in your machine’s capabilities through the KSOC, or you can upgrade to Knightscope+ and allow us to take some of the workload off and we can do the remote monitoring on your behalf and escalate issues according to the agreed process.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
